The original Curve0 keyboard group buy launched in November 2024 and the units shipped in January 2025. It was available only in a 60% ANSI layout with a soldered PCB.

Curve0 v2 launched in August 2026. This time, it is 75% ANSI and can be purchased with either a soldered or hotswap PCB.

What’s new in v2?

• 75% layout

• Hotswap PCB option

• The PCB is now fastened to the plate via screws, making it easier to solder

• The bottom row keys are now at the same angle as the space bar. The previous angle was nice for some methods of pressing those keys but uncomfortable for others

• The two halves of the case now screw together at the front and back of the keyboard instead of underneath; we think it's a cleaner look but that's subjective

So, not a whole lot! We are very happy with how the first run turned out so the main updates are the new layout and hotswap option.
